I've actually been avoiding making a list of resolutions. Mainly because I wait to see what others are doing and steal some ideas haha. So actually I have just a few, general ideas that I want to start working on. And in a few months I might reevaluate and create a few more.

1. Self awareness
Overall,  I just want to be more self-aware. Pretty much in every aspect of life. I want to be self-aware of how I respond to situations that upset me and anger me. Slow to anger, Kaylyn. Slow to anger. I want to be self-aware of when I'm not creating time to be in the word. Making time with Jesus a daily priority. I want to be self-aware of when I'm being selfish, when I'm on my phone too much, when I'm being too lazy, when I'm not committing myself to being available to God. I could list so many things, so I will simply put being self-aware, because that generally covers it all.

2. Dedicated
Is there anything in your life that you're halfway doing? For me, it's probably blogging. It's a hobby that I love so much but I keep flip flopping in my mind of what I want to do. So, I want to be more dedicated to this blog. I can be my own worst critic and could probably name a thousand reasons of why I shouldn't do this blog or of all the ways I could fail. I just want to be all in. I don't want to waste time or let anything hold me back, I want to go all in regardless of how it may turn out.

3. Schedule
Oh goodness, how bad I need a schedule! I'm the type of person who doesn't accomplish anything if I don't write it down. I have the worst memory when it comes to this. Same thing with grocery shopping, if it is not on my list I will not remember to get it. I'm trying to come up with a daily schedule and a weekly schedule to ensure that I'm going to be using my time wisely. My daily schedule will be hour by hour and will help with my blogging because I'll have certain times to do things such as write a blog post, take pictures, edit pictures, and get links. And also it will set aside a specific time for me to do a Bible study or listen to an ACC podcast. Whereas if I didn't write them down I would forget and then wait until the last minute when it becomes too late to do. My weekly schedule will be for mainly household chores. For example, I'll have a certain day that I go to the grocery store, a certain day to do laundry, a certain day to clean our bedroom, a certain day to wash sheets..haha I know it sounds silly. I should probably also come up with a reward system so that I actually follow through. Maybe I can't have dessert until all of my tasks are done? Ha!

4. Skincare
Okay, so I feel like the first three were more on a serious note and then this little baby just slides in haha. As y'all know I have some troubled skin, to say the least. I am actually super happy with were my skin is at, thanks to my amazing dermatologist, bless her. I'm one who will spend $45 on their foundation but not be willingly to spend that much on skincare products. So, I'm saying skertttt to that in 2019 and changing roles a little bit. Okay, kidding, I am totally not giving up my makeup. I love every bit of it. As a start, I'm dedicating my Ulta Christmas gift cards to solely skincare products. I'll keep y'all updated on what I find and love! So far this moisturizer has been the bomb dot com and I will be repurchasing in the biggest container they sell it in!
